Letter From The Director

Gurnee Park District has been committed to making our community a vibrant, fun and desirable place to live and play for more than 50 years. As our community continues to evolve, so too must our programs, events, facilities and parks. I am happy to announce the completion of our Comprehensive Strategic And Master Plan process which will help guide us through the next 5 to 7 years. YOUR input and active participation was key to the plan's vision and recommendations.

We are grateful to our Board, staff and community for your support and collaboration in planning the “Future of Fun” in Gurnee.

We are also thankful to our partners, Next Practice Partners, LLC who led this process and shared their experiences in developing innovative and actionable plans nationwide. Led by Neelay Bhatt, Next Practice Partners, LLC they helped us ensure every voice that wants to engage could do so through the surveys, community discussions, and planning sessions.
